Why is Motorola so big on specs and so poor on the user experience quality? Their DVR’s are crap–first of all how many other manufacturers make it so difficult to aim the remote control at the stupid thing. I can bounce IR signals off of walls to get my TV and stereo to respond but not Motorola! And the DVR is constantly getting bogged down where it won’t respond to commands, and they get queued up and after a while they all get executed in rapid succession.
And don’t get me started about their cell phones. How long did it take them to figure out that, duh, some people want their phones to vibrate and ring at the same time?
Clearly low quality is a corporate-wide policy.
